Nick-Nacks

Nick-Nacks is vintage/retro store, dedicated to sustainability and giving a wide range of items from the past a second chance.

When I was a child I would spend a lot of time at both of my Grandparent’s and for a time my Great Grandfather’s houses and I adored the way everything had its place and how sometimes I felt like I was stepping back in time. I would seek out all the treasures and I asked so many questions, I needed to know the stories that went with every precious item I found. And when I was given something to take home I looked after it as if it was priceless, which to me it usually was.

As I grew I spent a lot of time in any shop that sold pre-loved items. Sometimes out of necessity sometimes to treasure hunt. Always keeping in mind that reusing was better anyway. From my own collections I wanted to one day be able to create a space where people could find all sorts of interesting items.

At the beginning of 2021 I was able to start and open Nick-Nacks. Apart from finding some interesting items the best parts of my days so far has been meeting and talking to some awesome customers and hopefully they go away feeling like they found some pretty cool things.
