Junk & Disorderly

Junk & Disorderly first opened in Auckland in the early 90s when owners Nicole & Richard Stewart turned their love of vintage into a career. They gather the stores offerings from a number of sources and carefully select those that fit into their concept. Despite what its name may imply, this is by no means a store that is filled with junk, and the disorderly side of it is very intentional– there is constant curating going on behind the scenes and each piece has its very own place within the store.

The stock here is constantly changing, so don’t be fooled into thinking you can come back to that perfect lampshade next time you’re in store. The upside to this is that there’s always something new to discover.

Junk & Disorderly also carries a new range of products to compliment the old, so don’t be surprised to see a beautiful antique piece sitting with a lovely new pot and plant on it – and you can buy the whole lot!
